The plot centers on a budding cinematographer named Kaira, who is discontented with her life and meets Dr. Jehangir, a free-spirited psychologist who helps her to gain a new perspective on her life.[4]
The film's development began in 2015, when Shinde signed Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan for a film to be made under her banner. Principal photographytook place in Goa and Mumbai. The film features a score composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics written mostly by Kausar MunirDear Zindagi released on 23 November 2016 in North America, two days before its worldwide release on 25 November 2016, to commercial success and critical acclaim, with major praise directed to Bhatt's performance.
The film is set in Mumbai and Goa. Kaira is a promising cinematographer. Fatima, Jackie and Ganju are her three best friends. Her cheerful life becomes a nightmare when Raghuvendra, a film producer for whom she breaks up with her childhood sweetheart, ends up engaged to someone else. Her landlord turns her out of her apartment because the building association wants to rent apartments only to married couples. This serves as a catalyst for her shift to Goa to live grudgingly with her parents. All this leads to her spending many sleepless nights.
While in Goa, she seeks out Dr. Jehangir "Jug" Khan, a Goan psychologist, for her insomnia, after having accidentally heard him talk at a Mental Health Awareness Conference. Meanwhile, she meets a musician, Rumi, for whom she begins to develop feelings, but they break up before anything serious can happen. She also meets her younger brother, Kiddo. Matters with her family come to a head when Kaira has an outburst at a family get-together where she confronts her parents about them abandoning her for years at her grandparents' house.
She finally narrates the story of her abandonment to Jug, who tells her that she fears abandonment so much that she doesn't allow herself to commit in relationships. He convinces her that she doesn't need to forgive her parents for abandoning her, but she can, as an adult, see them as two regular people who made a mistake. He says, "Don't let the past blackmail your present to ruin a beautiful future." After this, Kaira makes an effort to reconcile with her parents and also works to finish her short film.
Kaira tells Jug about how she has grown to like him over the weeks and proposes to him, requesting him to meet her more. However, he rejects this saying that despite liking her, the two will not be able to live together and he does not maintain contact with those who he thereapies. After a last hug, the two part ways, to live two different lives and two different destinies.
The movie ends with a viewing of Kaira's film where she meets a furniture dealer who might turn out to be a prospective lover.

The film features Aishwarya Rai as Dalbir Kaur and Randeep Hooda portrays the title role Sarabjit Singh, an Indian man who was sentenced to death by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 1991 and who consequently spent 22 years in prison for alleged terrorism and spying while Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar play supporting roles.[4][5][6][7][8] Made on a production budget of 15 crore and marketed at 8 crore,[1] Sarbjit premiered at the 69th Cannes Film Festival[9] and was released on 20 May 2016 to mixed reactions from critics.[10][11] The film turned out to be a profitable venture at box-office by grossing about 43.88 crore worldwide after its two-week run.
Dalbir Kaur (Aishwarya Rai), two years after she suffers the stillbirth of her daughter, leaves her abusive husband Baldev (Ankur Bhatia) and arrives to stay with Sarbjit's family. She works in a textile mill to support the family alongside Sarbjit. Sarbjit Singh (Randeep Hooda) lives in Bhikhiwind, Punjabwith his wife Sukhpreet (Richa Chadda), their two daughters Poonam (Ankita Shrivastav) and Swapandeep, and his father Darji. He works as a farmer and is a loving younger brother.
In 1990, after becoming drunk, Sarbjit accidentally crosses the border and arrives in Pakistan, where he is convicted as an Indian spy. He is alleged as Ranjit Singh, and accused of causing bomb blasts in Lahore. His claims of innocence are ignored and he is tortured for months before he is able to inform his family of his captivity through a letter. In an attempt to appease the Pakistani police, Sarbjit falsely confesses to terrorism and is promptly given a death sentence. Dalbir, determined to free her brother, enlists the help of lawyer Awais Sheikh (Darshan Kumar). Their plea for justice is supported across India and condemned in Pakistan; the media in both countries continues to cover the case, causing Sarbjit's sentence to be repeatedly delayed.
In 2012, after 22 years of imprisonment, Sarbjit's family is allowed to visit him in jail. They are heartbroken to witness him as a tortured prisoner but he rejoices in the short-lived reunion. Subsequently, his death sentence commutes to life in prison; having already served nearly twice the length of a standard Pakistani life sentence, it is assumed that he will be pardoned and released imminently. The Pakistani government soon clarifies that the release order they issued was not for Sarbjit, but for a prisoner named Surjeet, devastating Sarbjit's family. A year later, Afzal Guru, a Pakistani imprisoned in India, is executed for his role in the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. In retaliation, Sarbjit is attacked in his jail cell by Pakistani prisoners, and is admitted to a local hospital in critical condition, eventually succumbing to a comatose state. His sister, wife and grown daughters visit him but are forced to leave shortly before his death. Sarbjit's body is delivered to India, where his village and family mourn as they reminisce his life. As the film ends, Dalbir promises that she will always continue trying to fulfill his dying wish of being recognized as an innocent man.

Ghajini is a 2008 Indian action psychological thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Allu Aravind, Tagore Madhu and Madhu Mantena. The score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman. It is a remake of Murugadoss's own 2005 Tamil film of the same namestarring Aamir Khan in the lead role along with Asin and it became the highest-grossing movie of that year and the first Hindi film to cross the 100 crore mark.[4] It stars Aamir KhanAsin and Jiah Khan in lead roles while Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan essay supporting roles. The film's main plot was adapted from Christopher Nolan's Memento.[5][6] and the comedy plot was inspired by the 1951 British movie Happy Go Lovely.
The film explores the life of a rich businessman who develops anterograde amnesia following a violent encounter in which his love interest, a model named Kalpana, was killed. He tries to avenge the killing with the aid of photographs from a Polaroid Instant camera and permanent tattoos on his body.[7] Aamir Khan's character was featured in a 3D video game titled Ghajini – The Game, which is based on the movie.[8] On release it became the highest-grossing movie of all time until it was beaten by another movie, 3 Idiots (also starring Khan) the following year. Ghajini's paid preview collections were ₹27 million (US$400,000).[9] With this movie, Asin made her debut in Bollywood.
Sunita (Jiah Khan) is a medical student, working on a project about the human brain with her classmates. When she is denied access by her professor to the curious case of Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), a man reported to have anterograde amnesia, because it is under criminal investigation, Sunita decides to investigate the matter herself.
It is later revealed that Sanjay loses his memory every 15 minutes. He uses a system of photographs, notes, and tattoos on his body to recover his memory after each cycle to remind himself of his mission: to avenge the death of his beloved Kalpana (Asin). He systematically kills the people who were tied to the murder. His main target is Ghajini Dharmatma (Pradeep Rawat), a notable social personality in the city, and the man directly responsible for Kalpana's death and Sanjay's condition.
Police inspector Arjun Yadav (Riyaz Khan) tracks Sanjay down to his apartment and knocks him unconscious. Yadav finds two diaries in which Sanjay has chronicled the events of 2005 and 2006. The film flashes back to 2005 as Yadav reads the diary. Sanjay Singhania is the chairman of the Air Voice mobile telephone company. In the course of business, he sends his men to meet Kalpana, a struggling model of Mumbai, about putting up a billboard above her apartment. The owner of Kalpana's advertising firm misinterprets this as a romantic advance and, in view of a possible lucrative Air Voice ad campaign, encourages Kalpana to accept the overture. Kalpana thinks of it as an innocent prank that may fetch her better modelling work and decides to charade as Sanjay's girlfriend. Sanjay goes to confront Kalpana about this but falls in love with her at first sight. He hides his identity and introduces himself as Sachin, and the two begin spending time together. The diary ends with Sanjay proposing to Kalpana and promising himself that he will reveal his actual identity if she accepts.
When Yadav is about to read the 2006 diary, Sanjay awakes and attacks him, tying him up. Ghajini realizes that someone is trying to kill him but is unable to figure out who. Sunita visits Sanjay's flat and discovers Sanjay's plan to kill Ghajini. She takes both his diaries before finding Yadav, beaten and bound, and freeing him. Just then, Sanjay arrives, he remembers neither of them and chases them out. Yadav is hit by a bus as he flees in terror, and Sunita, believing Ghajini is the good guy in danger, informs him about Sanjay. Ghajini arrives at Sanjay's flat and destroys all of Sanjay's photographs and notes, as well as the tattoos on Sanjay's body, so that Sanjay is left with nothing to help him recover his memory.
Meanwhile, Sanjay discovers that Sunita had warned Ghajini and he goes to her dormitory to kill her, but Sunita calls the police and Sanjay is arrested. Back in her dormitory as Sunita reads the diaries, the film flashes back to 2006, where it is revealed that Kalpana had accepted Sanjay's proposal. When this diary ends abruptly, Sunita digs further and discovers that Kalpana was travelling to Goa for a modelling assignment when she came upon 25 innocent young girls being trafficked. She had saved the girls, who named Ghajini as the ringleader of the racket. Outraged, Ghajini broke into Kalpana's apartment with his goons to kill her. When Sanjay arrived, he found Kalpana stabbed. Ghajini then hit Sanjay over the head with an iron rod. Sanjay's last sight was Ghajini brutally murdering Kalpana with the iron rod. Kalpana's last word to Sanjay was "Ghajini."
Sunita, now aware of the shocking truth, finds Sanjay in the hospital and tells him the truth. He flies into a heartbroken rage and tracks down Ghajini with Sunita's help. He fights off all of Ghajini's henchmen with a superior and anger-fueled strength. Ghajini, realizing Sanjay is too strong for him, flees. Sanjay's memory loss strikes again, and he forgets who Ghajini is. Ghajini takes this opportunity to stab Sanjay and taunt him with the grisly tale of how he murdered Kalpana. As he is about to make Sanjay relive the experience by killing Sunita in the same exact way, Sanjay recovers the memory of Kalpana's murder, and overpowers Ghajini in a flash of strength. He finally kills Ghajini, in the same way Ghajini had killed Kalpana.
The film ends with a still-amnesiac Sanjay volunteering at an orphanage named after Kalpana. Sunita gives him a gift that reminds him of his bond with Kalpana, and Sanjay imagines Kalpana by his side, finally at peace with himself forever.

Befikre (English: Carefree) is a 2016 Indian romantic comedy drama filmwritten, directed, and produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Filmsbanner. It features Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles.[3][4]The film was shot over a period of 50 days in Paris and Mumbai.[5] It released worldwide on 9 December 2016. It didn't do well at the box office.
The film's songs has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar and produced by Mikey McCleary.[6] McCleary also composed the background score of the movie.
Set in Paris, Befikre begins with a nasty fight between Dharam (Ranveer Singh) and Shyra (Vaani Kapoor) which leads to a sudden break-up in the opening scene; and Shyra packs her bag and leaves Dharam. She decides to go to her parent’s house and asks them to let her in without asking any questions about her ex-boyfriend, Dharam. Dharam hails from Karol Bagh, New Delhi, and is a stand-up comedian working in his friend, Mehra’s (Aru Krishansh Verma) doomed restaurant where he mocks about people being in relationships and the single bachelors.
The film travels back in time when Dharam came to the French capital in search of work and adventure. To his surprise, he shares his room with a girl who is a lesbian. Mehra takes him to a party where he hooks-up with the fun-loving Shyra, a tourist guide, who is an Indian by origin and French by nature. Instantly, they dance and get intimate with each other. Dharam asks Shyra out on a date when she dares him to slap a police officer. Thereafter, they keep giving crazy dares to each other.
Again at the present time, Dharam mocks about his broken-up relationship in the same joint. They keep meeting each other accidentally showing that they still haven’t got over each other. In yet another flashback, they both decide to stay in a live-in relationship and Dharam meets Shyra’s parents who are chefs in their own restaurant. After many misunderstandings and fights, Shyra moves out and shifts with her family. They celebrate their breakup anniversary in the famous Love Padlock Bridge, Paris and swears never to fall in love with each other. Although, they are dating other people, but still they remain good friends until one day, when they both get into a heated discussion and become rivals. Only when they are getting married to different people, they realize that they still are tied to each other emotionally. They do a face-off dance in the ‘Sangeet ceremony’ which eventually leads them back as friends and they surprise everyone with their impeccable chemistry in the dance. Last but not the least, the time took its toll and they find love in each other, forever.
